Indonesian Medical Team Leaves for Pakistan

Islamabad: A 20-member Indonesian Medical Team led by Dr. Rita Kusriastuti, Director, Vector Borne Diseases Control, Environmental Health, Indonesia, left Jakarta for Islamabad Friday morning, says a press release received here today from Jakarta.

The team carrying necessary medical equipment and fumigation machines will arrive in Islamabad Friday night. Head of the Team, Dr. Rita Kusriastuti on the occasion said that her country was eager to contribute in the dengue eradication campaign. The team will proceed to Lahore after night stay in Islamabad.

The team was seen off at Jakarta Airport by senior officials of the Embassy of Pakistan, Jakarta.
