212 people killed in recent rains, floods: National Disaster Management Authority

Islamabad, April 05, 2016 (PPI-OT):Two hundred and twelve people were killed and one hundred and eighty eight others injured in recent rains and floods in different parts of the country and Azad Kashmir. Preliminary damage and loss assessment report released by National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) says that 104 people were died in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, FATA 38, Balochistan 19, Punjab 14, AJK 21, and 16 in Gilgit-Baltistan. The report further says that 1428 houses were either partially or totally damaged. The data pertains to March 9 till to-date.
