Chinese delegation calls on Governor Sindh
Karachi, April 07, 2016 (PPI-OT):A five-member delegation of China Electronics Corporation called on Sindh Governor, Dr Ishrat Ul Ebad Khan, at the Governor House, here on Wednesday. It was informed on the occasion that an exhibition of Chinese products would be held in Karachi in March next year. As many as 300 Chinese companies would be participating in this exhibition.
Governor said that such a level of participation speaks of the confidence in the Pakistani market. He said that single country exhibition also indicate the close friendly ties between Pakistan and China. Dr Ebad said that Karachi is an ideal city for the purpose of investment and business. It is a cosmopolitan city where people from every area in the country are living. The population of Karachi, the Governor pointed out, is bigger than many countries, and has vast opportunities for trade and commerce.
He said that a special security unit has been formed for the protection of Chinese working in China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) projects. A memorandum of understanding was inked between China Electronics Corporation and Badar Explorations for the exhibition in 2017. The Governor also invited the Chinese delegation for IDEAS exhibition to be held here in November this year.
