Concern raised at plight of Kashmiri detainees in Indian jails

Srinagar, April 21, 2016 (PPI-OT):In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyet leader Javed Ahmad Mir has demanded shifting of Kashmiri detainees from jails in India to Kashmir. Javed Ahmad Mir in a statement issued in Srinagar expressed concern over plight of Kashmiri detainees languishing in jails at Jodhpur, Jaipur, Jharkhand and Tihar in India over the past two decades. He urged international human rights organizations including International Committee of the Red Cross and Amnesty International to use their good offices for ending the sufferings of these detainees.
