Srinagar, December 01, 2016 (PPI-OT):In occupied Kashmir, senior APHC leader and President of Anjuman Sharie Shian Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi Al-Safvi has expressed concern over the pathetic plight of prisoners in different jails in and outside the territory.

Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi Al-Safvi in a statement issued in Srinagar said, “The ill-treatment of jail authorities towards Kashmiri prisoners has surpassed all the limits. The jail inmates are subjected to the worst psychological torture by using different inhuman means.”

“So many families are concerned about their incarcerated youth languishing in different jails. Jails are filled with youngsters whose careers are at the stake. Arrest spree continues across Kashmir while relatives of the detained youth have been suffering from serious mental depression,” he said while appealing to lawyer community to extend their possible help to the families of the detainees.
