Srinagar, December 08, 2016 (PPI-OT):In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of Ummat-e-Islami Jammu and Kashmir, Qazi Yasir, and the Working Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Movement, Mir Shahid Saleem, have said that political stand of pro-India National Conference Patron, Farooq Abdullah, changes like seasons of Kashmir and he is not able to cope with the fact that his political career is over.

Qazi Yasir in a statement issued in Srinagar reacting to the assertion of Farooq Abdullah said that one day the NC leader wanted to show his support to pro-freedom leadership and next day he was more loyal than the king only to be in the good books of India for political gains.

He said, “It was his father, Sheikh Abdullah who brokered a deal with India and forced us to live in this bloodshed and got hundreds of thousands Kashmiris killed by the troops brought by him. Farooq Abdullah is responsible for creating Ikhwan and then turning them into STF, it was his policy to catch and kill Kashmiris. I wonder how he sleeps at night after living with what his political party has done to Kashmir.”

Qazi Yasir said that there was no difference between the PDP, NC, Congress and BJP. “The very existence of these parties legitimizes the occupation which is the real problem of Kashmir. What Farooq Abdullah is saying today was once the lyrics of Mehbooba Mufti also till she came into power.”

Mir Shahid Saleem in a statement issued in Srinagar termed the remarks of former puppet Chief Minister of the territory, Farooq Abdullah political gimmick and said that the National Conference was the biggest hindrance in settlement of the Kashmir dispute.

He said that Farooq Abdullah during his tenure did not leave any stone unturned to appease his masters in New Delhi. He said that the people of Kashmir would not come into his hollow slogans and would continue the struggle for securing their right to self-determination.
