Indian govt has surrendered before army: Kamal
Srinagar, March 08, 2013 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the pro-India National Conference (NC) has said that the government of India has surrendered before the Indian Army. The NC’s Additional General Secretary, Mustafa Kamal, in a media interview urged the Indian government to exhibit strong will and political courage for repealing the draconian law, Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA), from the territory.
“Government of India is helpless before the Army. They seem to have accepted defeat and surrendered before Army. The Government has many times shown realization for AFSPA revocation but because of opposition from Army, they don’t pay much attention towards it now,” he maintained.
