Karachi Metropolitan Corporation providing employees with Basic Training of Computer and Internet
Karachi, March 12, 2013 (PPI-OT): The basis training system for KMC employees was being built on modern lines in which result the trained I.T staff will be available for organization. Sr. Director Information Technology Masood Alam said this while addressing an opening ceremony of Basic Office Automation for KMC employees held in Computer Training Centre. Earlier Sr. Director Information Technology distributed certificates among the participants of 49th Basic Office Automation Course under Training Department. On this occasion Director Training Fakhar-ud-din, Instructor Bilal Ahmed, Assistant Amir Raza, Abdul Aziz and other officers from Information Technology Department were present.
Masood Alam said KMC was well aware about the technical requirements of its employees therefore they were being provided with basic training of computer and internet during their employment which aims at improving their skills and abilities.
He urged that they should use computer skills in their routine office work and get significant status in their fields and departments. Sr. Director I.T said that present era was the era of modern technologies. The nations who understand its importance they were getting progress.
He said despite of limited resources KMC was providing its employees with every possible training facilities and we expect they would enhance their skills and perform well in their work. He said Computer Training Centre would also be enhanced with more modern facilities for which plan has been finalized and would be implemented soon and Advanced Excel, Web Designing, Computer Graphics and Animation and other new courses would be held in Computer Training Centre so that KMC employees would not have to go outside and they would be provided with I.T training free of cost.
