Chief Election Commissioner of Pakistan, members and staff of ECP express grief on death of Muhammad Zia Ullah Qasmi
Islamabad, March 12, 2013 (PPI-OT): Chief Election Commissioner of Pakistan, Justice (R) Fakhruddin G. Ebrahim, Hon’ble Members of the ECP and staff of Election Commission have expressed their deep sorrows and grief on the tragic death of Muhammad Zia Ullah Qasmi, District Election Commissioner, Quetta who was brutally killed today on Tuesday, the 12th March 2013.
“In his passing away, the ECP has lost a dutiful and vigilant officer who served the ECP with exemplary commitment and distinction” said the Commission.
They offered fateha for the departed soul and prayed Almighty Allah to rest his soul in eternal peace and give courage and fortitude to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.
The Commission also asked the concerned authorities to immediately investigate the matter, arrest the persons involved and take strict action against the culprits.
