JKPM condemns Hurriyet leaders’ illegal detention
Jammu, March 14, 2013 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Movement (JKPM), a constituent of the All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC) has strongly condemned the continued illegal detention of Hurriyet leaders and activists.
The JKPM General Secretary, Mirza Zafar Khurshid addressing different party meetings in Poonch district said that the sacrifices of hundreds of thousands of Kashmiris for the Kashmir cause had proved that the people of Kashmir would take the liberation movement to its logical conclusion.
He said that the Indian government and its puppet administration were utilising all tactics including imposition of curfew and illegal detention of the Hurriyet leaders and activists to suppress the ongoing indigenous liberation movement but would never succeed in their nefarious designs.
Besides others, Raja Ajmal Khan, Sardar Farooq Khan, Qaisar Sajjad Mir, Haji Sawar Khan, Akhtar Hussain Hamdani and Mazhar Bhatti participated in the meetings held at Bandi Chichian in Haveli tehsil and Salwa and Surankot in Mandher tehsil.
The meetings, denouncing the judicial murder of Muhammad Afzal Guru and demanded immediate release of all illegally detained Kashmiri Hurriyet leaders and activists.
