Mirwaiz denounces cold-blooded murder of youth in IHK
Srinagar, March 21, 2013 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of All Parties Hurriyet Conference, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has condemned the cold blooded murder of a young boy, Suhail Ahmad Sofi in Sopore by unidentified gunmen saying such acts are unacceptable in a civilized society.
The Mirwaiz who continues to be under house arrest in Srinagar, in a statement said the killing of an innocent civilian “means murder of the whole humanity.”
Expressing serious concern over the killing said nobody has the right to murder a person on political, organisational or individual basis.
He demanded impartial probe into the incident. He also expressed his heartfelt condolences with the family of the murdered youth.
The Grand Mufti of Kashmir, Mufti Bashir-ud-Din said that shedding the blood of innocent people was un-Islamic.
