Srinagar, March 22, 2013 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the Hizb-ul-Mujahideen has condemned harassment of detained Hurriyet leaders and activists by jail authorities and warned them of dire consequences in case they did not desist from such acts. The Hizb-ul-Mujahideen in a statement said that Hurriyet leaders were being meted out inhuman treatment in different jails of India.

“Even the people who visit these jails to meet their near and dear ones are being harassed and narked,” it added.

“Hurriyet leaders are not being provided medical facility. They are being deprived of standard and healthy food and those who raise voice against these ill treatments are being sent to outside jails,” statement reads. Hizb warned of strict action if the authorities continued to tread on the same path.
