Metropolitan Commissioner visits Abbasi Shaheed Hospital
Karachi, March 29, 2013 (PPI-OT): Full proof security plan for doctors and paramedical staff on inside and outside routes of Abbasi Shaheed Hospital should be made and check all visitors to curb such incidents which could harm human lives. Metropolitan Commissioner Matanat Ali Khan said this during a detailed visit to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital where he was accompanied by KMDC Principal Prof. Waqar Kazmi, Sr. Director Transport and Communication Muhammad Ather, Chief Engineer Central Asadullah Shah, Director Anti Encroachment Abdul Malik, Director Medical Services Azfar Mueed, Medical Superintendent Abbasi Shaheed Hospital Dr. Nadeem Ahmed Rajput, Assistant Commissioner North Nazimabad Shaikh Muhammad Rafi, SP Liaquatabad and other officers.
On this occasion he inspected all the inside and outside routes and directed all concerned officers to make a comprehensive security plan for doctors, paramedical staff along with citizens and watch out such circumstances which could affect law and order.
He said that we have recommendations for building two big gates on inside and outside routes of Abbasi Shaheed Hospital. Security check post would be built and CCTV Camera System would also be installed in Abbasi Shaheed Hospital and transportation routes would be improved for better traffic flow whereas blockages in the routes of ambulances would be removed.
Metropolitan Commissioner Matanat Ali Khan said that almost three thousand and five hundred patients visit Trauma Center of Abbasi Shaheed Hospital on daily basis therefore necessary measures for full proof security would be taken soon.
