Inqilabi remembers Andrabi on his martyrdom anniversary
Srinagar, March 29, 2013 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC) leader and the Chief Patron of Mahaz-e-Azadi (MeA) Muhammad Azam Inqilabi has paid rich tributes to the prominent human rights activist, Jaleel Andrabi on his martyrdom anniversary.
Muhammad Azam Inqilabi in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the sacrifices of Kashmiri martyrs including Jaleel Andrabi, Ashfaq Majeed Wani and Shabbir Siddiqui would not be allowed to go waste but would definitely bring positive results.
Jaleel Andrabi was abducted by Indian troops on March 8 in 1996 in Srinagar and later brutally killed in custody.
He said that India’s rigid approach was the main impediment to the peaceful settlement of the lingering of Kashmir dispute. “Indian leadership’s arrogance and politics of deceit and foul play is responsible for large scale killings and destruction here,” he said.
Inqilabi paid glowing tributes to Kashmiri martyrs, Muhammad Maqbool Butt and Muhammad Afzal Guru and reiterated the Muttahida Majlis-s-Mushawrat (MMM) demand for return of their mortal remains to their families for proper burial.
“UN resolutions and promises of Nehru regarding self-determination are sacred objectives of our struggle,” he added. Meanwhile MeA patron expressed grief and sorrow over the mysterious killing of a youth, Bilal Ahmad Dar of Islamabad town and demanded impartial inquiry into the incident.
