Graduation Ceremony of Anti Narcotics Task Force held
Karachi, May 10, 2013 (PPI-OT): Graduation Ceremony of ANF Assistant Directors, Inspectors, Sub-Inspectors, Assistant Sub Inspectors and Constables Course was held at ANF Academy, Islamabad. Federal Secretary, Ministry of Narcotics Control, Mr. Seerat Asghar graced the occasion as Chief Guest. Director General Anti Narcotics Force, Major General Malik Zafar Iqbal welcomed the chief guest and other participants of the event.
Passed out officials belonging to Balochistan including 04 Sub-Inspectors, 03 Assistant Sub Inspectors and 33 constables were recruited under Aghaz-e-Haqooq-e-Balochistan Package, hence providing special opportunity for people of Balochistan to actively participate as government functionaries.
In his speech, the chief guest congratulated the passing out officers and officials and said, it is matter of great satisfaction for him that performance of ANF is touching new heights which reflects dedication and hard work of all members of the force.
He also appreciated ANF’s training teams on their highly professional and untiring efforts. While addressing on the occasion, he added, he hopes that passed out officers and officials will play their role efficiently to curb the menace of drugs. While congratulating the passed out officers and officials, DG ANF expressed his expectations that new intake will play a vital role to curb the drug menace, hence making Pakistan and this Globe a drug free society.
Commandant ANF Academy, while highlighting salient features of training told that this course was of 6 months duration, which included training of Rules and Regulations, Character Building, Firing, Judo Karate, Raids and Search and Service Ethics.
Mr. Asad Mian was declared as best cadet and was awarded DG, ANF’s cane on this occasion. The event was attended by the high ranking government officials, Drug Liaison Officers of different countries, Foreign Dignitaries and relatives of the pass out officials.
