Sacrifices infuse new life in struggle: Gilani
Srinagar, July 03, 2013 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the veteran Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani has said that sacrifices have always infused new spirit and life in the ongoing movement for freedom from Indian bondage. Syed Ali Gilani in his address to the funeral procession of three martyrs in Tral over phone from Srinagar said that Markundal like incidents had persuaded the Kashmiri youth to show daring courage and take path of sacrifice.
Paying glorious tributes to the three martyred Mujahedeen in Tral, the veteran leader said, “To secure and ensure safe future of people, our youth prefer to fight against oppression and injustice and instead of living a desperate life, prefer dignified death.”
Syed Ali Gilani added that the Kashmiris were indebted to these innocent teenagers, who sacrifice their lives for a great and pious mission.
“The sacrifices presented by our youth demand our commitment and steadfastness with the movement and pledge that movement would be taken to its logical end,” he said.
“Though India has perpetrated the arbitrary measures to muzzle the voices, the people are committed to freedom struggle from the Indian bondage,” he said adding that Indian forces never missed a chance to kill even unarmed teenagers. He maintained that these youth by shedding their blood have conveyed a message that “India with all its military might cannot make us slave forever.”
