Indian extremists driving region into communalism: Leaders
Srinagar, August 13 2013 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, pro-freedom leaders and political and social organizations have continued to condemn the anti-Muslim riots across Jammu region.
Senior APHC leader and Chairman of Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) Shabbir Ahmad Shah in a statement said that the extent to which communal forces were hell-bent upon ransacking the lives and properties of Muslims of Jammu was extremely condemnable.
“They have mercilessly become the blood-thirsty of Muslims of Jammu. The more heartening and condemnable is that police is continuing its policy of arresting innocent Muslims.”
He said that the Indian communalists were driving the entire South Asian region into communalism. Lashing out at authorities over the arrest of party leader Abdul Qayoom and other freedom party activists said that authorities instead of arresting the oppressors was hell bent upon harassing the oppressed.
