Mobile phone service suspended in occupied Kashmir
Srinagar, August 15, 2013 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, mobile phones fell silent across the Kashmir Valley, today, after the puppet authorities jammed the cellular service.
Mobile phones from various service providers, including BSNL, Airtel, Aircel, Reliance and Tata, fell silent across the Valley as the people of Kashmir are observing India’s Independence Day as Black Day.
Mobile phone service across the Valley was suspended on 15th August last year as well. The authorities Thursday directed service providers to withdraw Internet facilities on mobile phones. Internet services are, however, available on broadband at very low speed.
