JKSM organizes free medical camp for flood victims
Srinagar, October 03, 2014 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement (JKSM) has pledged to reach all flood-affected areas and today organised more free medical camps at Shakirabad, Shankerpora, Ari Bagh and Sheikh Bagh.
Hundreds of patients were treated by doctors and paramedical staff besides giving them free medicines.
APHC leader and the JKSM Chairman, Zafar Akbar Butt, and his party associates including Nasir Mushtaq, Aijaz Ahmad, Mohammad Umer and Moulvi Muktiyar distributed Eid gift packets among the flood victims and assured that such camps would be organized in all flood-affected areas.
He urged the international community, to come forward and rescue the flood-hit Valley. He said that India and its puppet administration in the occupied territory should in no way ignore human aspect of the present situation.
Pointing towards the callous approach of the authorities, Zafar Akbar Butt said that instead of providing any assistance and relief to the flood victims, they were creating unnecessary hurdles to prevent the foreign aid from reaching the territory.
