Zamruda expresses concern over detention of Hurriyet leaders in IOK
Srinagar, December 19, 2014 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairperson of Kashmir Tehreek-e-Khawateen, Zamruda Habib has expressed concern over the continued detention and harassment of Hurriyet leaders and activists by the authorities in the territory. Zamruda Habib in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the Hurriyet leaders and activists were not being released despite the court orders. She said that basic amenities were not provided to the illegally detained Hurriyet leaders in jails due to which their health was deteriorating with each passing day.
Zamruda Habib said that the authorities were utilising all undemocratic means to prolong their illegal detention. She added that such cheap means could not prevent the Hurriyet leaders and youth from raising their voice for securing their right to self-determination and the liberation movement would continue till complete success.
