Zafar Butt meets Pak Deputy High Commissioner in New Delhi

Srinagar, September 30, 2015 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyet leader and the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement, Zafar Akbar Butt, today, met the ailing Deputy High Commissioner of Pakistan in New Delhi, Mansoor Ahmed Khan, and enquired about his health. Mansoor Ahmed Khan suffered a heavy cardiac arrest last month.

The JKSM in a statement issued in Srinagar said that during the meeting, Zafar Akbar Butt apprised the Deputy High Commissioner about the prevailing situation and the grave human rights violations being perpetrated by Indian forces’ personnel in occupied Kashmir. “He informed the Deputy High Commissioner about the anti-movement and anti-Muslim policies and agenda being implemented by the puppet administration of the territory on the behest of Indian communal forces,” it said.

The statement said that Zafar Butt hailed the efforts of Pakistani government for settlement of the Kashmir dispute and expressed the hope that the country would continue its support to the Kashmir cause in future as well. “He praised Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for his bold stand on Kashmir which he took during his meeting with the Un Secretary General, Ban Ki-moon in New York.
