Rich tributes paid to martyred youth in IOK
Srinagar, October 28, 2015 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyet leaders and organizations have paid rich tributes to two Kashmiri youth, Afaqullah Butt and Abdul Mannan Dar, who were martyred by Indian troops in district on Monday. The veteran Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani in a statement issued in Srinagar, said, “Our brave hearts abandon their colleges and universities and sacrifice their life for the better future of their people. They place a heavy responsibility on the people to carry forward their mission.”
“The loss of precious human lives is going on unabatedly in Jammu and Kashmir and the rigid and stubborn approach of Indian rulers. Kashmiris are peace loving people and they do not like war but the unrealistic approach of India is choking all other peaceful options. This is increasing the political uncertainty and instability in the entire South Asian region,” Gilani added. A delegation of the forum led by Syed Ali Gilani visited Pulwama and participated in the funeral prayers of the slain youth. The funeral prayers were led by Tehreek-e-Hurriyet Pulwama President Ghulam Mohiud Din Andrabi.
National Front Chairman Nayeem Ahmad Khan, in a statement, said, “Some of our youths are on path of armed struggle only because India is continuously refuting our political rights resulting in the chaos and confusion in the whole region. Indian attitude is responsible for the whole bloodshed taking place in Kashmir.” Muslim Deeni Mahaz (MDM) spokesman said, “The martyrs have succeeded in their mission whatever the outcome may be.” A delegation of MDM led by Mufti Muhammad Nadeem and Shakil Thokar visited the families of slain youth and paid glowing tribute to them.
Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (R) Chairman Farooq Ahmad Dar alias Bita Karatey, in a statement, expressed solidarity with their families and reiterated the pledge to take their mission to its logical end. Jammu Kashmir People’s Freedom League General Secretary, Muhammad Ramzan Khan, Arshad Aziz, Muslim League General Secretary Abdul Ahad Parra and Muslim Political League, Chairman Farooq Ahmed Tawheedi visited the martyrs of Drabgam Pulwama, and paid glowing tributes to martyred Afaqullah Butt and Abdul Mannan.
