Shifting of wholesale markets outside the city is need of day: Hanif Abbasi
Rawalpindi, October 29, 2015 (PPI-OT): Chairman metro project Hanif Abbasi said whole sale markets shifting is very serious issue of business community and now with the recommendation of chief minister Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif they are shifting whole sale market outside the city that is also a major concern of our business community.
Hanif Abbasi along with commissioner Rawalpindi Zahid Saeed participated in a meeting that held under the aegis of Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) and the main purpose of this meeting to take on board all markets and take their valuable recommendation to make this project more feasible.
While commenting on this project Rawalpindi Commissioner said we must consult all the stakeholders for this project and do research to collect data about the existing number of wholesale markets in Rawalpindi as this data base help us to select area and resources for this project.
In the end of the meeting RCCI Acting President Mr. Saqib Rafiq congratulated Government and business community for the achievement of this historical milestone and he also thanks Hanif Abbasi, Zahid Saeed and all business community representatives for their participation. RCCI Group leader Sheikh Shabbir, RCCI former presidents, S.M Naseem, Sohail Altaf, Syed Asad Mashadi, business association presidents and a large number of business community participated in this meeting.
