Resolve to continue martyrs’ mission reaffirmed
Srinagar, March 30, 2016 (PPI-OT):In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyet leaders have reaffirmed the Kashmiris’ commitment to continue the mission of their martyrs till it reaches its logical conclusion. The reaffirmation was made during a gathering meeting organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front at the Martyrs’ Graveyard in Eidgah area of Srinagar, today. The event was held to pay tributes to a martyred leader, Ishfaq Majeed Wani, on his martyrdom anniversary today.
The JKLF Chairman, Muhammad Yasin Malik while addressing the function, said that torture cells, jails and other means of oppression could not deter Ashfaq Majeed Wani from his way and he remained firm in his resolve for freedom struggle till the moment of his martyrdom. He pointed out that the sacrifices of Ishfaq Majeed Wani and other martyrs had center-staged the Kashmir dispute at the global level.
Hurriyet leaders including Muhammad Yousuf Naqash, Shabbir Ahmad Dar and Shakeel Ahmad Bakhshi also participated in the prayer meeting. APHC Chief Mirwaiz Umar Farooq while addressing the Executive Council meeting of his forum in Srinagar, today, stressed the need for resolution of all issues between Pakistan and India including the Kashmir dispute to ensure lasting peace in South Asia. He paid glowing tributes to Ishfaq Majeed Wani, martyrs of Hazratbal and other thousands of Kashmiri martyrs.
