12 protesters injured during police torture in Kupwara

Srinagar, January 10, 2013 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, at least a dozen people were injured when Indian police used brute force on a protest demonstration in Kupwara district. Police fired teargas shells and baton charged against scores people protesting against the anti-policies of puppet regime at Kralpora in Kupwara. Meanwhile, two persons identified as Mohammad Ashraf Dar, (18) and Abdul Jabbar Butt (38) died in road accidents in Srinagar and Sopore areas.
