Within IBM Watson Group, Padua was most recently responsible for leading the development and strategic deployment of IBM Watson platform and products. Transforming client engagement focused on client and business outcomes supported by machine learning, artificial intelligence, and cognitive computing, Padua drove outstanding incremental growth in addition to successfully designing, building, and delivering the Watson Developer Cloud that now serves as the basis for the IBM Cognitive Business strategy.
Padua has also held various leadership and founder roles in commerce start-up’s. IPivot, an innovator in payment commerce, was acquired by Intel in 1999. Furthering the innovation in the commerce space, Padua founded WireCACHE in 2001, successfully delivering the industry’s first transparent web application accelerator.
