King Salman to start Japan visit today


Jakarta (IINA) � Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman left Indonesia on Sunday heading to Japan on an official visit, as part of his month-long Asian tour that started on February 26, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

Before leaving Indonesia, King Salman had received a telephone call from Indonesian President Joko Widodo, in which he expressed his happiness over the outcome of the visit of the King to Indonesia.

The Saudi monarch expressed his thanks and appreciation to the president and the government and people of Indonesia for the hospitality and warm reception as well as for the outcome of the visit that laid the foundations for a new era in the bilateral relations between the two countries. During the current Asian tour, King Salman had already visited Malasyia and Brunei Darussalam and he will visit China and The Maldives before leaving for Jordan to attend the Arab Summit in the last leg of the seven-nation tour.
