SINDH GOVT TO ESTABLISH 7 MEDICAL COLLEGES IN PROVINCE
Sindh government is carrying out schemes to establish seven medical colleges in the province to provide best medical education and to overcome the shortage of doctors.
The Health Department official told our Karachi correspondent Ghulam Murtaza that an amount of one point 885 billion rupees is being spent in the current financial year 2017 in this regard.
The official said that under these schemes two medical colleges are being established in Karachi while one each in Sukkur, Hyderabad, Khairpur, Mirpurkhas and Matiari.
Health department is also spending 140 million rupees for renovation and rehabilitation of Chandka Medical College in Larkana and for establishing girls’ hostels there to facilitate female students.
