UAE Red Crescent sends urgent food supplies to Yemen

Hadramaut, (IINA) – The Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) has sent a food aid convoy on Monday to Gheel Bawzeer Directorate in Yemen, WAM reported.

The gesture is in line with the UAE’s efforts to alleviate the suffering of the needy and underprivileged families due to the country’s current situation.

ERC sought to meet their needs in order to overcome their distress due to the dire living conditions, which is part of the UAE’s approach to support all relief and humanitarian efforts throughout the world.

The ERC team has distributed assistance to 2,000 families in the directorate. Abdullah Al Musafri, head of ERC team in Yemen, stressed the authority’s keenness to continue the implementation of relief and humanitarian projects to aid all Yemenis in various directorates in Hadramaut governorate.

Beneficiaries extended thanks to the UAE and ERC for the aid, which will alleviate their suffering in light of the dire economic conditions in Hadramaut.
