Seoul, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has expressed willingness to scrap his country’s nuclear program, according to a joint statement from a historic summit with South Korea.

“There is no reason why we should fight each other – we are one nation,” Kim said in a speech during the summit with South Korea’s Moon Jae In.
