Masood condemns martyrdom of innocent Kashmiris by Indian troops in Kupwara

AJK President Sardar Masood Khan has strongly condemned martyrdom of innocent Kashmiris by Indian occupation forces in Kupwara on Sunday.

In a statement issued today, he said this is the worse act of state terrorism.

The AJK President said so-called search operations and victimization of innocent Kashmiri youth have become routine practices in Occupied Kashmir.

Talking to different delegations in Islamabad today, Sardar Masood Khan expressed deep concern over the continued detention of the Joint Resistance Leadership and arrests of other political activists in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

AJK President said it is ironic that the Indian Occupation forces have intensified operations against the Kashmiri youth after the announcement of the so-called ceasefire which they have not observed.

Masood Khan said Kashmiris were being victimized to quell their freedom struggle and their right to self-determination.

AJK President said India will have to openly acknowledge the dispute and cooperate with the leadership of Kashmir and Pakistan to explore a diplomatic solution through dialogue within the framework of the UN Security Council Resolutions.
