18 policemen awarded for brilliant performance in ensuring effective security

Islamabad: As an encouragement for those cops accomplishing their duties in a responsible manner and honest way, Deputy Inspector General of Police (Security) Dr. Mujeeb ur Rehman has directed all SPs to award their subordinates for their better performance in future too.

He said that police heads of various wings should purely adopt this idea of rewarding the cops, to improve their efficiency and better output during their service.

Similarly, a policy of zero tolerance against corruption has also been adopted in capital police which is aggressively pursued to stop the misuse of power by the cops or sluggishness in performing their duties.

He said that accountability system helps in improving the performance of any department and working of the staff can be easily judged through it.

The DIG said that accountability campaign has been aggressively launched in capital police department to keep them away from corrupt practices and make them more responsible towards profession.

Islamabad Police, he said, had started an accountability system to monitor performance of the police officials and also awarded punishment to several officers for dereliction of duties, negligence, poor investigation, absence and involvement in corruption.

“Accountability system helps in improving the performance of any department and working of the staff can be easily judged through it.

He said that such accountability system would continue in future and those performing well would be encouraged.

Following these directions of DIG (Security), SP SSG Nemat Ullah Kundi has awarded his 18 subordinates for their good performance in making comprehensive e security arrangements at parliament house and lodges, Those who were awarded included Sub-Inspector Ghulam Asghar, ASI Akbar Ali, Head Constable Allah Dita, Constables Muhammad Imran, Khadim
