1st Indigenous On-Campus Training underway at University of Sindh
Jamshoro, September 30, 2014 (PPI-OT): The 1st five days indigenous on-campus training for management cadre staff is underway at Sindh University Jamshoro which is organized by varsity’s quality enhancement cell (QEC) and planning and development (P and D) in collaboration with higher education commission (HEC).
On second day, three informative sessions were taken place on various administrative based topics. In first session, Dr. Kamran Brohi of Institute of Mathematics and Computer Science gave his presentation on information technology and management. He spoke about how to manage the official things and communicate through emails, social media e.g. Facebook and LinkedIn.
Thus in second session, the former director finance and the present advisor finance of SU Mushtaq Ahmed Memon gave presentation to the participants about the matters relating to audit and accounting. He briefly spoke about the budgetary issues, maintaining the accounts and the ways of conducting audit.
In the last session, Prof. Agha Rafique Amed delivered his lecture on communication skills. He put light on the ways of official communication for dealing with the people. He termed the communication as 2-way process and apprized the participants regarding modern communication skills.
It may be noted that 26 officers from SU and 10 officers from SU affiliated colleges are participating in the 5-day indigenous on-campus training workshop. This will continue up to October 3, 2014.
