The Tournament Disciplinary Committee has announced the names of six players of Police football team

Karachi: The Tournament Disciplinary Committee has announced the names of six players of Police football team who had physically assaulted the match referee during the match played between KRL and Police on March 15, 2012 at Peoples Football Stadium, Karachi, and were fined Rs. 20,000/- each and suspended for six matches.

According to the press release issued here by Pakistan Football Federation (PFF), the names of the guilty players are Saeed Ahmed Jersey # 01, Muhammad Ishaq Jersey # 15, Badshah Gul Jersey # 06, Rasheed Ahmed Jersey # 09, Alamgir Khan Jersey # 04 and Gul Daraz Jersey # 02.

The penalty has been imposed on the six players of police by the Disciplinary Committee in view of their acts of violence/assault and rowdyism to set the example for other players with a view to promote the game of fair play.
