Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have reaffirmed their commitment to work together for the stability, progress, and prosperity of the country. This resolve was expressed during their meeting held at Aiwan-e-Sadr in Islamabad on Tuesday.
According to Radio Pakistan, discussions during the meeting focused on the country’s political, economic, and security situation. They also addressed the law and order situation and measures against terrorism.
The Prime Minister briefed the President on the government’s steps to improve the economy. Federal Ministers including Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Ahsan Iqbal, Azam Nazeer Tarar, and Mohsin Naqvi, along with Prime Minister’s Adviser on Political and Public Affairs Rana Sanaullah Khan, were also present on the occasion.
