Dr. Baig left Dubai to attend aim conference 2012
Karachi: Dr. Mirza Ikhtiar Baig, Chairman Pak-UAE Business Council of FPCCI left for Dubai to attend Annual Investment Meeting (AIM) Conference 2012 as a panellist to be held from 1st to 3rd May 2012 in Dubai and would be speaking on “the challenge of meeting production requirement for growing demographic in emerging markets”.
The other panellists/speakers are: Mr. Sergio Dobrusin, Minister of Strategic Planning, Government of Misiones Province, Argentina, Mr. Kwoado Owusu Agyema Chief Executive Officer, Ghana Export Promotion Council, Ghana, Mr. Malcolm Wall-Morris, CEO, Dubai Multi-Commodities Center, UAE, Mr. Murugesh Nirani, Minister of Industries, Karnataka Government, India, Mr. Borislav Stefanov, CEO, Invest Bulgaria Agency.
The participants comprises of heads of states, ministers, government officials, mayors, executives, high net worth individuals from 76 contributing countries from across the globe. Commerce Minister Makhdoom Amin Fahim, Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah, CEO TDAP Tariq Puri, S. M. Muneer and others would also be attending the conference.
TDAP will be hosting a gala dinner on 1st May 2012 in Dubai showcasing Pakistani culture and music and there will also be a presentation on “Investment Potential in Pakistan” on second day of the conference.
UAE was the single largest investor in Pakistan and the second largest trading hub in the world with immense potential to further increase the bilateral trade and investment between UAE and Pakistan for which Pak-UAE Business Council will play a vital role, said Dr. Baig.
