Indian troops committing heinous crimes in IHK: Naqash
Srinagar, February 24, 2013 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, APHC leader and the Chairman of Islamic Political Party Jammu and Kashmir, Mohammad Yousuf Naqash, has said that Indian troops are committing heinous crimes in the territory to suppress the Kashmiris’ liberation struggle.
Mohammad Yousuf Naqash, in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the troops involved in mass rape of Kashmiri women in Kunan Poshpora and thousands other such brutal acts deserved severe punishment. However, he deplored that instead of being punished, they had been enjoying freedom and getting rewards from the Indian government.
The APHC leader maintained that the Kashmiri people would never get justice from India and its judiciary. He said that the supreme sacrifices of Kashmiri people would not go waste and they would achieve freedom from Indian bondage very soon.
Yousuf Naqash said that the Indian civil society had raised voice and protested against the recent rape of a young female student in New Delhi demanding capital punishment to the perpetrators, but unfortunately the same civil society had maintained criminal silence over mass rapes of Kashmiri women by Indian troops. He said that it had proved that the Indian civil society, which constituted the Hindu majority, was favouring and furthering the colonial mindset of the government.
