Qaim Ali Shah visits Aga Khan Hospital and give compensation cheques to affectees of Abbas town blast
Karachi, March 08, 2013 (PPI-OT): Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah today arrived at Aga Khan Hospital where he visited under treatment injured patients of Abbas Town affectees. Deputy Speaker Sindh Assembly Ms. Shehla Raza, former MNA and leader of Jamat-e-Islami Mr. Muzaffar Hashmi, Senior Special Assistant Mr. Rashid Rabbani and Special Assistant to C.M Mr. Waqar Mehdi accompanied the Chief Minister Sindh.
Syed Qaim Ali Shah inquired health of each injured and gave them compensation cheques of Rs.10 lac each. In all, he gave away 26 cheques there to ailing victims. Chief Minister Sindh assured them that till complete recovery, all injured will be provided healthcare and treatment on government expenses.
With regard to damages to building of Abbas Town, the Chief Minister Sindh assured that the affected buildings will be reconstructed and complete care will be adhered to all affectees. Chief Minister Sindh directed the health department and Commissioner Karachi to pay attention towards treatment and care of all other injured who are under treatment in other hospitals. He directed that all injured persons be handed over compensation cheques today positively.
