Srinagar, March 23, 2013 (PPI-OT): The All India Sikh Students Federation has demanded probe into the mass killing of 35 Sikhs who were killed in Chattisinghpora area of occupied Kashmir in March 2000. The spokesman of All India Sikh Students Federation in a statement demanded CBI probe into the massacre. He said, “Even after 13 years, the government is yet to produce a clue about the people involved in Chattisinghpora killings.”

It is to mention here that in 2000, when the then US President, Bill Clinton, was on a visit to India, 35 Sikhs were killed by some persons dressed in the uniform of Indian army in Chattisinghpora area of Islamabad district.

Many human rights reports have raised finger towards the Indian army for planning and executing these killings to defame the Kashmiris’ ongoing liberation movement.
