No peace in region without resolution of Kashmir dispute

Srinagar, April 05, 2013 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of Islamic Political Party Jammu and Kashmir, Muhammad Yousuf Naqash has said that Kashmir is a serious dispute and permanent peace in the region is impossible without its amicable settlement.

Muhammad Yousuf Naqash addressing Friday congregation at Safa Pora said that the Indian government and its local agents including the so-called puppet assembly could not succeed in curbing or terminating the basic human rights of Kashmiri people by subjecting them to extreme cruelty and oppression.

He further said that people of Kashmir had been perpetually striving through peaceful means and supremely sacrificing for achieving their inalienable right to self-determination. He said now the desperate fate of the so-called assembly is not hidden to the world, when its puppet chief minister openly weeps on his helplessness and debility.

Naqash strongly condemned slapping of draconian Public Safety Act (PSA) on APHC leader, Nayeem Ahmad Khan and other minors, youth and students.

Meanwhile, a high level delegation of Democratic Political Movement (DPM) headed by its Chairman Firdous Ahmad Shah during peoples contact programme in Islamabad town strongly condemned the action of Indian police against the Hurriyet leaders and boys

Firdous Ahmad Shah said that the occupation authorities could not prevent the people of Kashmir from their just struggle as they had vowed to take the ongoing liberation movement to its logical conclusion.

He expressed serious concern over the continued arrest of Hurriyet leaders, Shabbir Ahmad Shah, Nayeem Ahmed Khan, Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai. And Mushtaq-ul-Islam and house detention of the veteran Kashmiri Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani and Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Chairman, Muhammad Yasin Malik.
