Indian army chopper crashes in Siachen glaciers

Srinagar, May 13, 2013 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, an Indian army helicopter crashed, today, in the Siachen glacier area.

The advanced technology helicopter commonly known as Dhruv was on a normal air maintenance operation near our forward post when it crashed mid air, Indian army spokesperson told media men, adding that the two pilots sustained injuries when their helicopter crashed.

The helicopter was carrying food and other supplies from the Siachen Indian army base camp to forward posts when it crashed, an Indian army officials said.
