JKLF pays tributes to martyred Kashmiri youth
Srinagar, June 14, 2013 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) has paid rich tributes to the Kashmiri youth, Muhammad Ashraf, Ashiq Hussain Lone and Sajjad Ahmed Mir, who were killed by Indian troops.
A JKLF delegation comprised Showkat Ahmad Bakhshi, Muhammad Siddique Shah, Bashir Ahmad Kashmiri, Mohammad Hanif, Javed Ahmed Butt and Mushtaq Ahmad went to Noupora and condoled with the family of martyr, Mohammed Ashraf Rather. On the occasion, they said that the sacred blood and sacrifices of the martyrs was a precious treasure of the Kashmiris that would remain fresh in the memory of all the Kashmiris..
The JKLF delegation said that a movement that had the backing of such families could not be defeated. The delegates then went to Liter and Half Shirmaal and expressed solidarity with the families of Sajad Ahmad Mir and Ashiq Hussain Lone.
Meanwhile, the JKLF in a statement issued in Srinagar expressed concern over the deteriorating heath of its jailed leader, Sheikh Nazir Ahmad languishing in Srinagar Central Jail.
The delegation expressing concern over the continued illegal detention of Sheikh Nazir Ahmad, Dr Muhammad Qasim Fakhtoo, Showkat Ahmad Khan, Mushtaqul Islam, Masarrat Aalam Butt and Shakeel Ahmed Butt, demanded their immediate release.
