Indian trooper flees with service rifle in Udhampur

Srinagar, July 09, 2013 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, an Indian Army man went missing with his service rifle and ammunition from a camp in Udhampur district, police said on Tuesday.

Sepoy Shrikant Tukaram went missing with his INSAS rifle, three magazines and 60 rounds from the Army camp, SSP, Udhampur, Anil Magotra said.

On a complaint lodged by Army, a case has been registered last evening and search to track the missing army man is going on, Magotra added. Tukaram is from Maharashtra and belongs to 874 Battalion of Army.
