Protesters ransack DC office, burn vehicle in Ramban
Srinagar, July 18, 2013 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, agitating people ransacked the Deputy Commissioner office in Ramban town and set on ablaze a government vehicle during a protest demonstration against the killing of six people by Indian troops in the area.
We had received many a calls from Gool area informing that six people were killed and over 40 were injured, after Deputy Commissioner ordered opening of fire on the protesters, this morning, the protesters said.
Hundreds of vehicles were stranded in Ramban– Banihal highway after thousands of protesters blocked it at various areas of the district.
