Authorities arrest innocent youth of IOK in fake cases: Sehrai
Srinagar, August 02 2013 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the Tehreek-e-Hurriyet Jammu and Kashmir has said that innocent youth of the territory are illegally arrested and sent them behind the bars under fake cases to suppress the ongoing liberation movement.
The General Secretary of Tehreek-e-Hurriyet Jammu and Kashmir, Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai in a statement issued in Srinagar deplored that the authorities were using every tactic to harass the people of the territory particularly the youth.
He said that Hurriyet activists, Gulzar Ahmad Wani, Imtiaz Ahmad Gojri, Manzoor Ahmad Challoo, Muhammad Ashraf Malik, Nazir Ahmad Khan, Rauf Ahmad Butt and Abdur Rasheed Shagan had been lodged in Srinagar Central Jail for last several years and were not being produced before the courts for prolonging their illegal detention.
Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai said that on one side India was claimed to be the largest democracy but on the other the people of Kashmir were being deprived of their democratic rights including their birthright to self-determination.
