Nepalese Ambassador Meets Ishaq Dar, discusses visit of Nepalese Finance Minister
Islamabad, August 15, 2013 (PPI-OT): His Excellency Mr. Bharat Raj Pauudyal, Ambassador of Nepal called on Finance Minister, Senator Ishaq Dar here Thursday.
His Excellency Mr. Bharat Raj Pauudyal, Ambassador of Nepal congratulated the Finance Minister on his appointment as the Finance Minister of Pakistan as well as the impressive mandate won by PML-N during the election.
The Ambassador of Nepal discussed the forth-coming visit of a Nepalese delegation to Pakistan led by the Finance Minister of Nepal to attend the joint ministerial commission meeting between the two countries.
The Ambassador appreciated the interest shown by the government of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for reviving the inter-ministerial forum between the countries which last met in 2005.
Senator Ishaq Dar said that PML-N has a track record of encouraging region of forums specially. South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) and would like to see South Asian free trade agreement (SAFTA) play its role in increasing trade relations among member countries.
Senator Ishaq Dar said that Pakistan looks forward to the visit of the Nepalese Finance Minister to Pakistan and hopes that his visit would enhance and broaden the existing trade and economic relation between the two countries.
