JKPM, JKSM condemn police action against APHC leaders
Srinagar, June 12, 2014 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Peoples’ Movement (JKPM) and Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement have strongly condemned the brute police action against APHC leaders.
APHC leader and senior vice Chairman of JKPM, Mir Shahid Saleem in Jammu and vice Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement and APHC AJK representative Tufail Altaf Butt in their separate statements appealed to the international community to bring to an end the military might police of India and its regime in Kashmir.
The statements condemned the using of brute force on APHC leaders including, Zafar Akbar Butt, Syed Bashir Andrabi, Yasmeen Raja, Javed Ahmad Mir during a peaceful protest demonstration at the press enclave in Srinagar. The JKPM leader said India’s tactics could not weaken the struggle for right to self-determination in Kashmir.
