Chief Minister Sindh inaugurates 1st Pilot Video Conferencing System
Karachi, August 12, 2014 (PPI-OT): The Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah inaugurated 1st Pilot Video Conferencing System installed at CM House to introduce E-Governance in the province. The 1st phase of this system has been installed by provincial Information Technology Department with its estimated cost of Rs. 10million.
Talking on the occasion the Chief Minister Sindh said that this system of E-Governance to evolve positive impact for gearing up the general administration of entire province from one site, particularly during special occasion / crisis management.
Besides, this will interlink to the Chief Minister with other cabinet members and this practice to result administrative decisions accordingly. The Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah was of the view that accessibility through E-Governance will deliver the result for the people and government functionaries and added that the system would be further encouraged.
The Chief Minister tested this video conferencing system personally and expressed his satisfaction. The Sindh Minister for IT Mukesh Kumar Chawla, Secretary I.T. Ali Mumtaz Zaidi, Principle Secretary to CM Alamuddin Bulo and other officers were present at this occasion.
