95th National Management Course participants visit Pakistan Embassy Beijing
Islamabad: A 10-member delegation comprising members of the 95th National Management Course at the National School of Public Policy (NSPP) Pakistan visited the Pakistan Embassy here today and met Ambassador Khan, says a press release received here today from Beijing, China.
Talking to them Ambassador Masood Khan said that Pakistan and China enjoy close bilateral relations which have grown from strength to strength during the last 60 years. He said China has become the bedrock of Pakistan’s foreign policy which enjoys consensus across the entire political spectrum.
Ambassador Khan said the leadership of Pakistan and China is committed to enhancing people to people contact and bilateral relations between the two countries so that the friendship between them could be transferred to the next generation.
The delegation was led by Chief Instructor, Mr. Shafiq Hussain Bukhari and Deputy Chief Instructor Brig ® Anwarul Haq.
They informed the Ambassador about National Management Course and the role NSPP is playing in training the mid-career officers in formulating and implementing public policy at the national level.
They said the Foreign Study Tour, is a very important component of the training course which educates officers about modern statecraft as well as methodology and processes for public policy formulation, while enhancing participants’ understanding of geo-political and geo-economic trends in a globalized world, particularly focusing on the challenges and opportunities for Pakistan.
During their week-long stay, the delegation visited Guangzhou, Shanghai and Beijing.
