Zafar Butt distributes medicines among patients in Srinagar
Srinagar, September 14, 2015 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyet leader and the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement (JKSM), Zafar Akbar Butt soon after his release visited a free medical camp established by Al-Jabbar Welfare Trust in Blackanipora and distributed medicines among the deserving patients in the camp.
Zafar Akbar Butt addressing on the occasion said: “We are providing social help to the affected people especially flood victims and will continue it besides the political freedom struggle.”
He also spoke about the importance of conducting free medical camp and said that such initiatives would ensure healthy and constructive society. He slammed the authorities for rehabilitation of flood victims and said that they had not fulfilled the promises made with the people.
He also castigated the administration for new statements about recent court decision. Zafar Akbar Butt said that the so-called Assembly should have passed a resolution against the recent High Court decision of Beef ban instead of dirty politics because the directives are un-Islamic and the Muslims especially Kashmiris would not accept it.
On the occasion he paid glowing tributes to the martyrs of area and also to the 50 innocent martyrs killed in September 2010. He said that killers had not been punished till date and victim families were still waiting for justice. Party leaders, Abdul Qayoom, Mukhtar Ahmad, Beigh Aijaz and Abdul Majeed also accompanied him. Senior doctors including Dr Irfan and Dr Iqbal gave free medical consultation to people and students of the institution.
